Online Full ADHD Assessment for Adults - First Consultation

How does the Online ADHD Test for Assessment & Report work?

Dr.Online’s Full ADHD Assessment is composed of 3 consultations. Our process is a multi-disciplinary approach involving psychology, psychometry, and psychiatry that is employed to thoroughly evaluate and diagnose Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in individuals.

The initial 2 consultations are with a psychologist who gathers vital information through interviews, behavioural observations, and questionnaires. The subsequent consultation is with a collaborating psychiatrist, adding valuable insights, recommendations, and treatment options. This collaborative effort ensures a comprehensive and personalised approach for managing ADHD symptoms.

  1. First Consultation – Initial Consultation with a Psychologist – 320€
  • Initial Interview to gather patient history and symptoms;
  • Questionnaires and Rating Scales are provided for self-assessment;
  • Behavioral Observation;
  • Review of Work Records if available;
  • Psychological Testing to assess cognitive abilities.
  1. Second Consultation – Psychometry with a Psychologist – 290€ (click here)
  • Continuation of Psychological Testing to assess cognitive abilities
  • Feedback and Discussion of current assessment findings;
  • Collaboration with family members if requested by a psychologist.

After this consultation a Formal Report is generated along with a referral to our team’s psychiatrist if ADHD symptoms are found.

  1. Third Consultation – Psychiatric Evaluation with a Psychiatrist (if needed) – 290€
    Booked via Dr.Online Concierge Service

  • Psychiatric Evaluation to confirm ADHD and rule out other conditions;
  • Review of Medical History, including previous diagnoses and family medical history;
  • Discussion of ADHD Symptoms observed by the patient or their family;
  • Review of the Psychologist’s Findings;
  • Formal Diagnosis of ADHD type and severity;
  • Treatment Discussion, including medication, behavioural therapy, or other options;
  • Medication Consideration, prescription if necessary.
Our team’s psychiatrist will suggest and inform the patient and our concierge service to book future appointments such as:
Follow-up consultations for ongoing monitoring, adjustments and prescriptions;
Collaboration with the Psychologist for coordinated care.

These three consultations provide a comprehensive assessment and diagnostic process for ADHD, ensuring that the individual receives the most accurate diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan

If the diagnosis is positive for ADHD, a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs is developed and discussed with the patient on the next consultation which is “ADHD treatment plan adjustment”. This plan may include a combination of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle modifications, based on the patient’s individual needs and preferences.

Follow Up Consultations

Depending on the diagnosis the patient may require follow up consultations such as:

Important notes:

  • The ADHD psychologist evaluates ADHD symptoms during the first and second consultation;
  • A report and referral (if needed) are generated after the first 2 consultations, this can take up to 7 working days;
  • The third consultation is booked by our concierge service team after the patient is referred.

Who is it aimed at?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurobiological disorder with genetic causes that appears in childhood and often follow the individual throughout life.
The exact cause of ADHD is unknown, but the condition has been shown to run in families. Scientists think it’s likely caused by a combination of genes, environment, and slight differences in how the brain is hardwired. Your ADHD Specialist can go over the advantages and disadvantages of medication and psychological interventions.

Adults with ADHD have problems in six major areas of executive functioning:
  • Activation – Problems with organization, prioritizing, and starting tasks.
  • Focus – Problems with sustaining focus and resisting distraction, especially with reading.
  • Effort – Problems with motivation, sustained effort, and persistence.
  • Emotion – Difficulty regulating emotions and managing stress.
  • Memory – Problems with short-term memory and memory retrieval.
  • Action – Problems with self-control and self-regulation.

Currently, our ADHD online consultations are tailored for adults aged 18 and above who display symptoms of ADHD or have concerns about their condition.
